As some of you know, I've been brewing my own beer for almost 2 years and have been having a blast with it.. Probably made 40 batches or so... The last thing missing in my process was temp control during fermentation.. I decided to take one of my machines and convert it to a fermentation fridge. I took a temp controller and thermocouple (from work) and hooked the output up to the machines thermostat. My thermocouple is in the liquid.. Now I can keep my fermentation temps under control... It worked like a charm. The original thermostat would let the liquid get to 52deg F. I needed to be in the mid-upper 60's.. My only problem is I usually do 2 batches at a time, so this will slow me down a bit until I set up a 2nd machine  biggrin
