Help: Cavalier CSS-12-141 with a Cav-873 marked on compressor not working

I just had my Css-12-141 stop working this week. The both fans are working but the compressor is failing to kick in. I was wondering if some one could help me figure out where to get a manual so I can troubleshoot and fix it (hopefully). Thanks for any help

Hopefully it may just need a 3-in-1 start/booster to replace a tired start/run relay, I've been on a lot of service calls lately due to the hot weather around here (in S.E. Michigan) last week I replaced two compressors that had given up the ghost from overheating & age, ( an Ideal/55 & a Glasco/50 )

johnieG,
thanks for the help. I looked for a 3-in-1 today but I am having trouble finding what one I need. The internal tag has a model # cav 873 but that is all I can find to identify my compressor type/hp. Any idea what part number of the 3-in-1 I would need? Thanks Again.

Looks like you've already torn into the terminal connections on the side of the compressor, typically these machine had a 1/4hp compressor...Try the Graingers web page...here's a link to the Supco hard-start (3-in-1 )
