coin mech not working

Not that familiar with coin mechs,or really soda machines. The sticker on the side says coil acceptors USA. It was working fine I had it set for two nickles, Now it wont trip the bottle release. I tried changing the two switches in back plugging and unplugging the mech but no go. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

One simple thing to make sure of first most machines require a minimum amount of Cans/bottles in the machine before it will work. Is there any product in the machine? Also what is the machine that you are working on?

The Manchine working on is mid 60's sv 144(the Canada dry machine in my pic) It does work empty, I found that out when I first got it. I don't understand worked fine then nothing. If I trip a wire sticking out of the coin mech it will change the counter but that's it.
