Today I was out and stopped by an antique store I hadn’t been to in a few years. As I was leaving I spotted a pale green soda machine. I had never seen one like it before and as there was no price I asked at the front counter about it. Turns out the dealer wasn’t there, they called him on his cell and he said he didn’t know what he was going to ask for it since he just got it and that he would call me tomorrow about it. Here is what I can tell you about it. It is a Heintz C2P with Embossed Canada Dry logos. It has the Glass door on it (some had solid doors) and appears to be missing the cap catcher; the rear panel cover and the bottom base might not have been there (can remember right now). I found all of the info in a book and am attaching a picture of it. I will let you all know when I find out more about it.

Hey Steve,

This exact cooler was just on greed-bay...  I can't remember when but it was recently because I contacted someone regarding a photo for use on SM.C... Good chance it's not the same person but looks very similar in condition...

I would like to get a photo for the Site but can't utilize the one from the book... Copyrights and all the legal stuff; I'd rather not put myself into that position...

So after his song and dance and a week he finally gave me a price. $450.00 “Firm”. I had offered $350.00 last week and am not sure I even want to pay that price. What do you guys think?

Well....Hmmm $450 seems way on the high side for an incomplete machine to me, I mean geez it's missing about 45% of the stuff, cap catcher, bottom skirt, and the back cover... unless it's a plain old flat access panel you can fabricate, you might have a time locating another..well that's my opinion anyway, depends on how bad you want one  '<img'>

That capcatcher was on e-bay a few weeks ago, but it was unknown what machine it was for at that time.                     I think this machine would look cool with a countertop and barstools.
