I finally got a cooler that didn't come from the 70's for a change. It's a Westinghouse Master. My question is, does the drain come out the front of the box? I didn't see it in any photos. Wondering if maybe the cap-catcher covers it when it's in place. That's the one thing it's missing, the cap-catcher. Also there is a stand pipe just higher than water level. Is this right or should the pipe not be there so that you can easily drain the old water. Tried attaching photo without any luck.

Hello Jerry,

Could you post a photo of the inside of the cooler with the tube in question present...?

And yes, the cap catcher will cover everything.

My six cents,

The stand pipe is in the upper right corner. You can't see all of it because of the lid, but it extends up just high enough to be above the water line. Thanks for your help Jim.

Wasn't sure if the pipe was supposed to be there or not, so while working on it the other day I went ahead and throwed it away.
