I'm going to take a look at this today. http://www.usedottawa.com/classified-ad/8849138Assuming it's an original and not a reproduction, what is it really worth? Trying to figure out what my max offer would be. Cheers!

I could be wrong but I just can't imagine a company making such a huge repro sign.

I'm betting repro or a repainted original ... the “DRINK” font is wrong.

It's the Canadian Version of the button, It very well may be porcelain as well, as most of the canadian buttons where porcelain coated.. looks like it's in nice shape and if so, and it's porcelain I'd say the asking price of 400 is right on the money, not a super deal but not a bad one either..
But in my opionion, it's an original 48" Canadian button sign.
Nice find.

That looks like a really nice original Canadian sign. I agree on the price ^, but $300-$350 would definitely be fair due to the size.

Wow... Learn something all the time on here... Would have guessed repro by the DRINK font amazing shape for that size... Price sounds like a steal for something that big. Good Luck!

I agree with John. It's a nice original Canadian button. If you can get it for $300 to $350 it would be a good buy.

Nice button and yes it's porcelain. I'd say that's a good deal. The 4 footers are the only ones I ever run across here in Canada as I've never seen the smaller ones pop up here for sale. They usually go $600 - $700. You should jump on that
