Hey everyone,
Not sure what i have here. I think it is a Vendo56. I am very new to this hobby. I bought the machine for a whopping $10 2 weeks ago at a garage sale.. I plugged it in and it keeps nice and cool. I am wanting to get it restored. Whats the average cost for restoration?
Whats the value now and then after it is restored?
Any info would be greatful!
Thanks
James

Wow, that doesn't look to bad from the pictures. If it's not to bad I'd think I would leave it alone, and you did very well on the price.

Yeah..220, 221 whatever it takes.
Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon!

Pat yes i know i have gotten a restoration price from you.
This website is one of the only "active" forums for vintage vending machines that i have been able to find.. I Have already checked freight and i can get it to you probably in a couple of weeks...
Yea the machine itself has only a few minor spots of rust which is just on the surface.. The glass is missing from the door and i do not have a key for it. I have plugged it in and it keeps nice & cool all the time.
Im just trying to figure out reasonable prices for the value. i figure its prolly worth a couple hundred as it sets and then maybe 3 grand what it has been restored. Am i pretty close?
Thanks
James
