Attaching evap. coils
«

Hi all,
Has anyone tried to use JB Weld (or some similar epoxy) to reattach the evaporator coils
on the inside liners of Ideal sliders? It seems the factory soldered them on but I've just
painted my liner (before I found the detached coils) and would rather not burn the paint off by soldering.
Thanks for any input,
Chris.

Factory did not solder them on......they stuck them on with tar! I assume you have now pulled the liner so now your new insulation should push the coils tight against the liner when you slide it back in, and that's all you really need!
