Correct change light not working

I noticed today that the correct change light on my machine was not working in my vendorlator VF-165. I tried switching the socket out with another one that was working but it did not work. Anyone know what could be wrong? (also the bulb is tightened in the socket lol) Never mind turns out that the machine needs cans in it before it will tell you to use correct change. Oh well I am still learning.
