Oh man! I am wild about that blue cigarette machine with the Art Deco touches.
Is it from the 30's?

When I first picked the machine up, it was traditional hammertone blue.

After striping and prepping, I chose 57 Chevy Paint colors from the book...had
em mixed and shot...then the re-assembly and finish work.

I love it as well, thanks!  I do not know the year, but it is the National Machine.

Before and assembly pictures below.

I went to the candy store for Cigarettes.....Belgium Chocolate in Celophane, Bubble Gum (the kind that goes poof when you blow through it) and the nasty chalky style.

People love em!  I have all my machines set to free play or provide the change to make it happen!

Hi Ya Poptop

where did you find the "Lucky Strike" image. I'm in the process of restoring my machine and would like to use the hand image. I have a decal man. Just need a decent enough image to blow up for the product door.

It looks great. Had I seen it before I chose my colour scheme I may well have gone for the blue.

I love the space you have in your room. My little collection is literally shoe horned into a corner of what you have..
I keep all my stuff on coin.. Let the little ones use their pocket money is my motto.

The Lucky Strike was a Magazine ad!

There are so many cool ads (yes cigarette ads were cool) but I went with Lucky Strike
because my girlfriends Dad smoked them.

Gumball Machines are a penny but the candy and the candy cigs are on freeplay...other wise they
would go stale waiting for some coin.  The slot machine is set to tokens but can be coin in a minute,
however my friends would expect a payout!

The video game, claw machine and Coke machine are coin...but the bucket is near them.

Always a party!

I tried the chocolate cigarettes in my machine and they jammed a lot.  I believe I had to pinch and tape the pack.  What chocolate cigs are you using?  Maybe there's a new brand out there.  They did have cool packages, but the chocolate was hard to unwrap.
