Not sure I have done this correctly, since I am new.  First, I think this is a tremendous site--the information is fabulous. I never had a machine before, but now I find myself with 3 of them (it is a long story).  But, one does not have the correct compressor, so I am looking to see if anyone has a complete compressor and evaporator (and the shrouds for it) for a Westinghouse WC 42T.   Thanks.

Welcome to the site!

If you are starting out with 3, I hope you have a lot of storage room.. These machines multiply like rabbits...

We like stories and pictures..

Not sure what you mean by "shrouds" but post a picture & someone may be able to help.

Yeah..220,221 whatever it takes.
Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon!
The Vendo V-83 is the '59 Edsel of the coke machine world. ;p
Spray painting does NOT restore a compressor
11 is louder than 10...
"Hope" is good, but it's not an action plan.

I was informed by a restoration company that I needed the "shrouds" along with the compressor and evaporator.  I simply thought that this referred to the galvanized plates around the evaporator.  That is why I mentioned the shrouds.  I have no photo of them since I have no evaporator.
Only having a machine for a week is really interesting.  I commend everyone supporting this website since I have learned a tremendous amount by simply reading the postings.  But I do suspect that it is true that these machines tend to multiply.
