First off, I've always been a coke guy, but after restoring a Pepsi VMC 88 for a customer, I was thinking I gotta find me a Pepsi 81.. The orange one was on ebay a few weeks ago, I bid, but didn't win, but one of my previous customers did and it is now up at my shop awaiting a restoration!... a few days later I responded to an ad I saw for a Pepsi Machine and ended up buying the blue one.. both are nice complete machines from what I can see, haven't drilled out the orange one yet to see what's inside, but looks complete.  The blue one is nice and straight, someone painted the whole interior BLACK with spray paint, rack, tub, compressor, everthing... not sure what look they where going for?
So the next project , which I'll start in a few weeks will be restoring both at the same time!

Some people just want one! Are you going to keep yours or sell it?

John,

Your customer's machine would look good "professionally restored" into one of those rare Orange Crush machine!  laugh Cool biggrin

Great machines both--and that's coming from a Coke guy!
