Hey guys,

Just thought I'd introduce my newest addition to the collection!  I found this Stoner Fresh Gum machine on craigslist for $50 and snapped it up.  It cost me $20 to ship it from Kentucky, so I'm in it for a whole $70.  It's in real nice shape...all knobs are still the marbled red and in great shape, the glass and decal are good, and it works fine.  It even came with the key.  There are a couple small paint nicks where rust has developed, but it looks real nice as a whole.  The inside pane of glass is cracked, but that shouldn't be a big deal to replace.  I like the green hammertone paint!  Now I'll have to find a decent original green hammertone Stoner Jr. or 180 to mount this to!!

Finally, a Stoner in the collection!!   laugh    biggrin

They look ugly on the side of a machine.

Bazooka will fit in most of the columns, but there are at least two for the old chicklets that I haven't had any luck with finding a match.

I have one too, in the same color. Are there any other gums besides Bazooka that will fit this gum machine ?

Canal gum from Mexico, but it only fits in the columns that the bazooka fits in.  Nice looking machines, but useless.  Great for displays.

Did the machine have the weights in the columns?

Thanks, guys!

Good advice, Larry.  Wasn't sure how it would look unless you mounted one on each side for balance!  I'm guessing the brackets are scarce, anyways.  Yes, it has the weights in each column.

I'll have to try the bazooka and Canal gums.  The Canal is readily available down here (imagine that!).   biggrin

I found two pictures that I had on my computer.  Here's a machine that I had before I painted it yellow.

I didn't like the side mounted gum machine.  You might think that it's the coolest thing on Earth.  It's all a matter of personal preference.

Awesome buy!... Mine's a hammertone tan.... red marbled knobs.... mine came with a folded instruction manual
in it... had to drill the lock out so now I'm in need of a lock... Had to have it though I can't use it... But I needed something to balance out my Vendo Coin changer on the shelf and this works! smile
Great buy... you did well! happydrinkers
