Jim, when you look at the person bidding, it says Private listing bidders. What does that mean.

It is a sellers option when listing an item to display bidders identities or not...this seller obviously chose to keep them private.

Although it really doesn't make much difference now as ebay hide the bidders details anyway...

You can still pull buyer info from the feedback section, but you won't see the details that were once available, and I don't think Private Bidders would  show  in the Feedback section , well their names anyhoo

you are right... If you do want to find out who bid on something you can put the item in your watch list and hope that they leave feedback..

You can also still search on bidders using the search facility but even that is fairly limitted..

You're right Dave, and lately, I don't care if I lose an auction to track down the winner, or see what kind of buying pattern they have.
