Hi everyone, I just heard some cool news that pepsi is doing another "throwback". They will be making their pepsi and mountain dew cans with the old logo. And they are making it with pure cane sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup! I figured these cans would look cool in my old pop machine!

I don't think Pepsi uses cane sugar.  I believe it is beet sugar.

Mexican and Kosher Coke use cane sugar.

Excellent. Pure cane sugar is just so much better than Fructose.

Per Pepsi, Pepsi Throwback & Mt. Dew are "sweetened with natural sugar, a blend of cane sugar and beet sugar."

I love this stuff. I got a 12 pack of the mountain dew for my machine and when I get back to school I am going to buy enough to fill the machine up. I think I need maybe 3 to 5 more.

I was at Costco today and I picked up a case of the throwback Pepsi.  I also noticed that they had 12oz glass bottles of Coke, in 24pk cases.  Then I got home and looked and its the sugar cane Coke.  They were $18.25, and I don't normally see them around here.

The Costco's in Michigan started carrying the Mexican Coke with cane sugar about 6 months ago or so.  It is very good--the way I remember Coke from when I was a kid!  I pick up a case for my USS-64 every now and then.  Problem is that as of the first of the year I am on a diet because I am trying to convert the cornelius can to a six pack biggrin so I can't drink the stuff! veryangry  Okay, maybe I can have one every now and then! hopefull

Thuis time around,  pepsi is doing the 1960's Red/blue circle logo, and  the early 60's Hillbilly  for Mountain Dew.
Almost grabbed a few packs when I was in Walgreens yesterday

The Pepsi cans look like the ones I used to pick up back in the late '70s and early '80s to recycle!  Can't wait to find these down here!  I love the Dew cans!
