Cavalier cs96a

I have a CS96A Cavalier that has traveled with me for(whew!'> 30 years and Now seems as good a time as any to sell it. I've been told it needs freon.Other than that,it runs when plugged end and all Mechanisms seem in order. the body is clean as well as inside-no rust at all. Serial #:294476 Can someone help me w/ values for this model in good or Very Good condition? Secondly (and this will impact my question) it is painted red-there is no white front like your photo. However it appears to be a factory paint job. the raised lettering on front(white on red) and the decal logos on the sides appear too perfect and have the " worn" look of an original factory job or a factory re-condition. Did Cavalier ever re-furbish their machines (or maybe Coca-Cola)? Did this version ever come out w/ an all red body w/ white lettering? The coin slot is wide enough to accept quarters and nickels but the decal above the slot reads 10 c (cents sign). That's a tough one. A good original 3-5 years ago could sell for $600 - $900. Recently the auction sales have had good originals go for $1400. The 96s are very nice for gamerooms for the selection and size capability. The Coke Distributors often painted them to reflect a color scheme change so it's not unusual for a machine to have been painted over the years.

I think Audiobeer is about right. My best guess would be around $1100. If it is functionally and visually useable in an in-home setting as it is it may be closer to the $1400. To get this you will need to recharge it and "prove" it works though.
