I recently purchased a Vendo VS92B Coke machine and I cannot find any information on it. It currently has a fan not working behind the coil that is in the upper section. This is causing the coil to just freeze over. I do not know how to get to it and need a repair guide of some kind. Can anyone provide me with info on this machine? Thanks so much for your help!

Welcome to the board! I would bet that there are four bolts (two on each side of the stack), that once removed will allow you to slide the whole stack out. You may also need to unclip a wiring harness or something. Most of these machines were made so that they can be serviced in the field relatively easily. Then all you would need to do is unbolt and slide the compressor assembly out. Post a pic of the upper portion of the stack and ask away. I have not personally worked on a 92, but somebody here has I'm sure.

If the water fountain on the side of that machine is missing or if you don't intend to use it, the metal recycle yard will give you about $25.00 for that copper coil.

Thanks for the tips. Does anyone know where I could get a manual on this, or perhaps a few photos showing this done. And here is the "Newbie" question, please tell me what you mean by the "Stack"? Thanks so much guys, slowly but surely I will figure this out!!

The stack is the set of columns that you would load the bottles in. There are probably 4 bolts holding the stack in place. Remove them and it should slide right out. Then there are probably two bolts holding the vending mechanism in place. Remove those and disconnect any wiring and it should slip right out too. Finally, there is 1-2 bolts securing the compressor assembly to the bottom of the machine and 2-4 screws holding the evaporator assembly to the bottom of the liner. Remove those and the line cover and the whole assembly slides out. You can get a manual from Fun-Tronics - a sponsor of this site. I think this is the manual you need, but I haven't seen your whole machine to be sure. http://www.fun-tronicsllc.com/store.php?crn=351&rn=478&action=show_detailYou can also get replacement fans, T-stat, wiring harness, etc. from them. While you got the whole thing apart, replace everything and give it a good cleaning and you'll have years of uninterrupted cold drinks.

Here is a pic of my machine, Mine is a multi vend, not the single vend machine, does that make a huge differnence on which manual to get? I also notice that the model # VS92B is rarely referenced, is there anothor model number I should search with on the internet? Thanks for all the help everyone!!

The link I provided is for the V-92-3 should be for the Vendo 92 3 selection machine. Call and talk to Janet - she is really nice and should be able to answer any questions about the manual.

Spoon-feeding Newbies since 2001... Yeah..220,221 whatever it takes. Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon! The Vendo V-83 is the '59 Edsel of the coke machine world. ;p Spray painting does NOT restore a compressor 11 is louder than 10... "Hope" is good, but it's not an action plan.
