Ran across this today.
Appears to have a crank handle, but I can't tell. Odd loading rack too. Kind of like a Jacobs the way the bottle is delivered on the side.

That is really odd looking. I'd also like to know what machine that is.

I would guess Mills. The bottles are dispensed crown first. The Mills 45 is the only machine that dispenses this way. The bottle opening is a Mills style. It could be a machine they never made or one no one has ever found.

How can you tell that the bottles are dispensed crown first?

I can make out on the door liner "Insert Bottles Neck First" and I think I can see the butts of the bottles in the serpentine loading area.

It says insert bottles neck first so I'm guessing they come out neck first. No other company has a bottle opening even close to this one except Mills.

I agree.. the bottle delivery area defeinatly looks like a Mills, but the coin mech, kinda looks like one from a slider or even a Penny Box, with a crank handle?
Very strange... but interesting.

Very cool find!
There are several concepts at work on this machine...
As mentioned, it vends from what would appear to be the side like a Jacobs...
I cannot make out the details on the coin box, so I state that it may be automatic similar to many Mills models; but if not, it almost looks like a wind up clock handle due to the shadows having holes in two places...
And obviously, the bottle chute is reminiscent of Mills again.
The bottle opener/cap catcher help me think this machine is from the early 1940's since it's external and separate from the opener itself...
What's interesting is the serpentine vending system that empties into a rotating drum of sorts...
I may have to purchase for further evaluation; I have a few questions I sent the seller.

My six cents,
