thought i would show some pictures of a new air meter i  just had finished, made in the 1930s, the hose comes out of the bottom unit, most units the hose is on the top coming out of the side. It was very heavy to move, made out of cast iron . will go great with my other ones

Jeff,

Once again, yet another incredible piece.  happydrinkers It is interesting that you posted this today because I was filling up at a Speedway Station on the north end of Lansing, MI the other day and I took the attached picture.  I was thinking to myself when I took the shot, glare "I wonder if this will be a collectible 50 years from now?"

Somehow, I would be very surprised if it turns out to be a sought after item.  The care and imagination that went into the design of everyday items in the 30's through the 50's seems to be a thing of the past. down
