New Bottles

Well guys i was at my local Walmart and i noticed that Coke cola has started putting Coke in glass bottles with screw tops. These are 12 oz. bottles and sell for $ 2.99 a six pack. They are cheaper than the 8oz.

Then as i was going to the register i seen on the end cap the new pepsi bottles they are alluminum and sell for $ 1.50 each. They are 16oz. I remember them doing mountain dew in the same size bottle.

So for you bottle collectors run to your local walmart.......LOL

Cool that the carton is retro, with the "Drink" Coca-cola in Bottles logo...
Now it would be cool to have Walmart buy some restored Vendo 81s from us who have the mto put in the stores to market these new bottles..

Very cool!  My Wal-Marts don't carry any bottles at all.  I'll check, but I bet they don't have those here.

Well, my Wal-Mart did have the 12oz Coke bottles!     Not the Pepsi, though.  Now to see if they fit in my machine.  At $2.98 that is about the same price as buying a case of the 8oz at Sam's.

I bought a 6pack today, but they had the red plastic caps....

Yep, mine had the red caps too...and that's ok, because my 8 year old can use the Coke points!
