Faygo has released their pop in 12 oz. glass bottles w/silk screened labels. It comes in 6 varieties (Redpop, Grape, Orange, RocknRye, Cream soda, Rootbeer). They come in 6 packs and are made with *cane sugar*. They retail for $4.99 a six pack. Bought some and did a taste test with the standard faygo. They are sweeter and less bitter bite than regular.
They are shaped like and labeled like the vintage bottle. Will fit perfectly in 50's style Vendo 81's.

Now if we can just get all pops to go back to sugar instead of corn.
Way to go Faygo.

Are they only available regionally?

I wonder, if people wrote them saying they liked the bottles, would that help to encourage them (and maybe others) to continue?  They can't get too many emails/letters praising a product. Companies always hear the negative, but pay attention to the positive.

I just sent them an email too.

So, just contact the distributor and see where they sell them?

I'll have to check, but I'm guessing they won't find their way down here to Texas anytime soon!  Who knows, Vernors is here!   drinking

So, after a one week trial with the sugar Faygo, I can tell you that it is definitly sweeter to the taste. Got a reply from Faygo and thanked me for kind email.

Stuff in plastic and can has a slightly bitter aftertaste at the end of a sip. The sugar pop has none! We have all been jipped by the soda manufactures.

I will state that there is no better combination of Grape, Orange, and Redpop than Faygo. Bar none! And lets not even bring up RocknRye for which there is no pop that even comes close to the taste of that unique soda.

101 years and still going strong
