Hi Soda Machines Fans,
I have just aquired a Vendorlator Model 10. This machine was made for Coca Cola in about 1949. It is in remarkably good condtion for it's age.

The problem I am having is finding any information on this machine. I have obtained a copy of the patent information from the US Patent office, but this seems to be the only information available.

I am an avid Coca Cola collector, but this is my first forey into refurbishing a vending machine -- I want to do it right.

So, what I am looking for is any input, comments or information anyone may have on this exact model or how to find out more about it. Also, what I am looking for are hits and suggestions on how to begin the refurb process.

Thanks for your help.

Welcome. I am hardly the resident expert but do you mean a 110? The 1st question will be pics, pics, and more pics. So if you have some post them, and folks around here can be a lot more helpful...

A couple of photos would help us help you...
A VMC-10 doesn't ring any bells in my old brain, but you never know...
I would think, as Dave mentioned, that this may be a VMC-110...
See if you can get a couple of dig-pics and we'll go from there...
Lastly, have you had a look into the Soda Machines Section with particular attention to the either of two models:
The VMC-110 or the Vendo V-110

My six cents,

I like the fast responses. Thanks.

I am sure it is a Model 10. See the photos I have attached.

Thanks for the lead on Model 242. The pics I can find look just like my machine from the outside, but what gives with the Model 10 on the identification tag on the side of the machine?

Thanks Tom!

I'll have to include this in the comments/description for the 242 for future reference...

Can't answer that - maybe a misprint/mis-stamp?
Upon comparing to my VMC binder manual, looks like you are missing the coin box and cap catcher as well as the compressor grill/cover. These might be difficult to find.

There is a model 10. i have the same one. With the tag on the side and everything. The only difference is that the coin slots are completely different, in configuration, shape beazel. everything. I think that the model 10 is just too old for anyone to remmember. But it does indeed exist.
