I bought some from Ace Hardware and they fit fine in the current holes , do I have to shim the caster to make it clear the base or do I have the wrong style?

Best to get the casters with the mounting plate.

That's the style I bought . They rub the bottom of the stand. If I go bigger wheels they won't fit the current holes. Do you guy's use swivel wheels or not? Them swiveling is my problem.

I shimmed mine for reinforcement and to keep the wheels from rubbing. See this
thread
.
