I have been emailing back and forth with a guy in Miami. He has a V81 which has a 81A  main door and an 81D body and it is complete. It is a California (rust free) machine that he has had since he was a kid. When he was younger, he ground off the rivets to the coin part of the shaft in a failed attempt to change the denomination of the mech. He has decided to sell it. He sent me a bunch of pics, but I just posted one here. If anybody is interested in it, his name is Leif. Leif's email address is "leif_bertrand@hotmail.com" and his phone number is (305) 525-5519. Price is negotiable.

Nobody near Miami interested in this?
He contacted me this morning asking if I put a notice up on the site here before he put it up on eBay.
If interested, give him a call or email.

That's strange, I emailed him about it and never heard back.  I thought he had sold it.

Did you try to call him? I've talked with him on the phone and he seems like a pretty good guy. He originally emailed me about repairing the coin mech. He decided to just sell it as opposed to fixing it or buying another mech - not sure what he did to it or if it can be fixed, but he says it is all there. I think he would let it go fairly cheap - $1000.

If someone is looking into this, let me know as it's close enough where I could stop in for a review or pick up/storage...

If I could fit it in a suit case I'd have it.
