(What is it with all these birthdays lately?)

We are all New Years babies. Mom and Dad had too much Champagne and - well, you know what happened.

Thanks a lot guys! You all are better than family - do you know that not a single one of my brothers (I have three) called, emailed or sent a card for my birthday?
I am really not disappointed in them - they never do, yet I always manage to send them a funny card or something on their birthday. Sometimes though, I think they really  '<img'> .; however, I have a family of my own now and was woken up with "Happy Birthday to you....you look like a monkey and smell like one too" by my 5-year-old. So I got plenty of good vibes today.
Anyway, I had a little JD Single Barrel tonight to relax. I feel good. My ritual for the last few years has been to do what I told you all about earlier - clean up the clutter in the house and take it to Goodwill. I feel good about having a less crowded house and helping out others at the same time.
When you get past 40, you need to do something to make you feel good.

I like to clean as well, but I can think of a couple other things to make me feel good! But then again I'm still at 40 (at least for another month).
