Hi guys,

Does anyone have any small indicators lamps matching part number 6S6DC ? They're small 6W/120V bulbs with a clip-in (dual contact bayonet) connection, used in sold out/selection lights, and I can't buy them locally at any reasonable price ($6 per bulb +tax).

I have seen them online for under $5 per box of 10, but Allied Electronics (where I saw them) has a minium order of $50 for international customers (I'm in Canada).

Obviously I'm not going to buy 100 bulbs only to use 5, so if anyone has something simmilar let me know.

Used is more than fine.. as is anything close to what I want.. long as it's 120 - 145V, under 10W and DC bayonet base (the screw base bulbs are a dime a dozen and not what I need).

Here is the website with the bulbs in question: 6S6DC Bulbs

Any help would be much appreciated.

Chris

P.S. While I'm at it, does anyone have any spare lock cylinders for a T-handle lock ? I had to drill mine as the previous owner lost the key.

topbulb.com has them for $2 each.  US shipping is $8, not sure how much shipping to Canada is.  If they want to charge you an arm and a leg to ship them to you another option is I could order some for you and have them shipped to me.  My parents are going to Canada in few weeks and I could have them mail them to you from there.  Throw them in a bubble-ope and I can't see then costing more than a couple bucks to mail. Once you get them you could just PayPal me for them or just send some cash (they are crazy here about cashing Canadian checks).  If you are ordering 10 or so this could work for you.  If you are interested just PM me.

We use 6S6DC bulbs all over the place in the movie theater industry. Film platters use them in the deck arms and make up tables. Some projectors use them as threading lights. Heck, sometimes we use them as pilot lights to indicate that the rooftop exhaust fan is on. Scott Hicks' American Cinema Equipment (www.cinequip.com) sells them by the box of 10. I think the last batch I bought was just 89 cents a bulb. If you know someone who works for your local movie theaters, ask if they have a few bulbs you could buy.
