Anyone up for an old Nintendo game system?

Can any thing like this or newer be converted to a tabletop console?

Thinking about my nephews, they recently figured out my Atari classics colletion cartridge for my SNES and played the heck out of centipede.

Those things are neither vintage nor rare.. dime a dozen in thrift stores, etc..   I don't see why you couldn't hack one.. they have both RF and Composite outputs and aren't terribly complicated..

I have seen a hack that turns an NES into a handheld, so anything is possible..

Lulu.. I agree with bones... the guy must be on crack for his buy it now price.. they are at every garage sale I have ever stopped at.

Personally, for the little kids, get either a hacked xbox or an older pc and get some emulators setup on it. I have almost every rom for NES on my xbox along with almost every other old game system. There is something to be said for the real system and controllers, but kids wouldn't know the difference. I have a hard time playing with Intellivision using the xbox controllers, but other than that, most other systems port over well.
