Hey I found this machine and want to know if anyone can tell me what it is and if it is worth anything. Was told it worked last time it was plugged in but that has been YEARS and that it is complete. Is it worth anything? I will try to get the picture to attach. Thanks.

Hi gprisock, It is a LaCrosse machine. They are not very popular compared to Vendos, Cavaliers, Jacobs and most of the others. Also parts are harder to get. Not many of us collect them, but in the end, if you like it to keep for yourself, then great, get it, that is all that matters. Just don't expect to sell it for very much. I wouldn't pay over $150 for it, but that is just me. But I like to stick to the other companies.
I also found one (a 7Up) recently and asked the same question of the group. Find it here: http://soda-machines.com/cgi-loc....;t=4018
Take care.

This one is on eBay also, for local pick up only about 45 miles from me. Starting bid is 50.00 but if its not worth anything I don't think I will invest in it. I did how ever find a RC Cola machine Vendolator VFA56F but asking price is 250.00 plus freight cost. Says its missing some shelves but works is it worth the money?? Has light up marquee. Picture is a little fuzzy.

If I had the choice, I would go with the Venolator. Parts and manuals are much easier to find. Plus, if you are an investor, I'm not sure these will be a good investments. If you are looking at collecting, and using them, they will work fine for you.

No I'm not an investor just using the term as in possibly restoring and reselling or maybe even keep. I had a Vendo 56 Pepsi machine that I sold back in August made a little more than twice what I paid for it. I think I may see what happens with the Pepsi machine (La Crosse?) and purchase it to keep. Thanks for the input. I currently have a Selectivend 7-up machine that I am trying to restore so I can keep it and I may just start a collection!! '>

No the RC machine is 250+freight shipping, I wish it was $50. So I am not thinking it will be worth is since it will be close to 600 total after shipping from CA to GA!!!
