Just about finished my Glasco GBV-50 restoration, but ran into a issue with the bottle gate.  This was a bare machine when I started and I've slowly found all the parts to make it complete.  At least I thought I had all the parts.

It looks to me like the coin mech rod is too short, the rod only passes thru the first part of the bottle gate, does anyone know if it should pass thru both holes in the bottle gate?   Any thoughts on how to extend the coin mech rod?

Many Thanks-

Here's a picture of the issue

Here's the machine, it's just about finished.

That looks great!!! The rod should go through both. You could take the mech off and take it to a metal fab shop and have them weld on a piece. That is the only solution I can think of. Does it work the way it is?

Thanks for the reply,  No the gate doesn't work very well since the gate bends when removing a bottle.  I'll check around and see if someone can extend this, I may also try to find some square stock and replace the entire rod.

Thanks
