Hello.

I'm Pixel. I like working on computers, playing video games, and of course, drink machines.

I've always been fascinated by the mechanics of drink machines- put some change in, make a selection, and suddenly a nice cold Coke (or Pepsi, etc.) is waiting for you.

I currently own two Coke Machines-

Choice Vend CVC-224 (boy, is this joker heavy!)
Cavalier CSS-8-64

Right now they both need some work, but I'm hoping to fix both
of them up.

I'd like to ask a couple of questions about them.

First, two of the vend motors in the Choice Vend won't turn properly. #2 motor turns very slowly, then locks up and trips
its breaker in the selector relay. #5 motor throws it's breaker without turning at all. Any ideas?

Also, where can I find body parts for the Cavalier? It needs a
bezel for the bottle opener, and possibly for the change outlet.
and a nice smaller "Cavalier" decal for the bottom front.

I also have a Choice Vend, it's common for the gears to go out
after a while. There is not a lot of parts out there to replace or redo
those machines.

Only way is to find a donor machine and take out the parts you need.

JohnnieG had an old (year or more) thread some where in the posts that
shows how to work on the gears and what to do to trouble shoot the
Choice Vend.

Correct me if I'm wrong Johnnie.

I'm sure others will give you help too on both machines.
