I had similar ideas about this very concept for SMC...I like the Appraiser Comments; quoted from SMC and too bad the url is wrong. They quoted SMC and referenced the url at: sodamachines.com, not soda-machines.com

I though he's a little high in his appraisal...

I thought he was high too. I noticed the "...quite compact in size..." off of SMC. Didn't notice the reference was wrong. |

I too thought the appraisal was high but then I thought my soda machine collection just went up in value '> |

sounds like the website should hire some of the regulars (at least a quarters worth) here at SMC

Well I'd say he's on the high side, the WC126MD is the biggest monster of all the Select-a-Matics,  (it's about 7' tall)especially this example, the checkerboard vinyl on the top panel section is add-on, & the Coca~Cola lightup is the late style scheme, the front is beat-up, all in all , (in my opinion) a below average condition machine, (and keep in mind I've owned all three models & currently still have a WC102MD in use in my family room) I'd give it a 5 out of 10, & wouldn't offer more than $200.00 for this example..

Spoon-feeding Newbies since 2001... Yeah..220,221 whatever it takes. Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon! The Vendo V-83 is the '59 Edsel of the coke machine world. ;p Spray painting does NOT restore a compressor 11 is louder than 10... "Hope" is good, but it's not an action plan. | | |

Clearly, the appraiser is out of his area of expertise since his bio is all about pottery, vases and other forms of ceramics... Go figure... |
