Need help. Tearing apart this machine, planning on replacing every thing new. Having a hard time with getting the compressor bracket out. Do I just torch and start new?

you have to remove the bottom kick panel trim first our you will not be able to lift it out, & you really didn't need to remove both compressor & condenser off of the mounting bracket rails in order to remove it, it all comes out as an assembly. once the trim is removed, it just kinda tips up & out of the chassis, it's a little tight, but it does come in one piece.... you are making extra work for yourself.    

But I do envy all of your empty garage space...

Thanks, everything is pretty rusty and roached at the bottom. How exactly do you remove bottom kick panel trim? How many bolts should I be looking for and where? Since I plan to put all new compressor etc.. can i just cut out compressor frame?

The Vendo Manual is pretty vague on removing kick plate.

Got it out! Almost falling apart from severe rust.

Glad you got it off, yeah they can get pretty corroded over their lifetime, snow, salt, the aluminum grows into the bolts & destroys them in the process. I usually end up just chiseling them off...
