I add coins the coil goes into itself and I can not pull out a can,, if I then push down with my finger on the bottom
of the coil where it attaches to the link arm, then it will let me pull out a can and when I close the latch after the can comes out,
everything resets and no can vend,,
any help?
did I reassemble the solenoid bracket wrong?

First you are missing your vending switch assembly, it mounts to where those two loose screws are dangling  (marked by the  blue stars in the picture) but this has nothing to do with your vending problem with the mechanical stack itself.

Second,  you are probably also missing your solenoid return spring that mounts on the back side of the stack it pulls back on the lever that's marked by the orange star & clips on a stepped hook setup on the backside of the stack & pulls back on the lever in the direction of the orange arrow, which in turn puts back pressure on the solenoids plunger ( green star & arrow) so when you trigger the solenoid it pops back to the down" position to allow a can to be selected ( you are basically doing the same motion with your finger/manually)

pull the stack, attach the spring to the point marked by the orange star & attach the other end / hook it to the #1 slot on the tension slots on the rack,

you can only see it from the backside of the rack.

yes the tension is properly hooked up, the switch that is missing, I actually have one from soda jerk works and its too big, it does mount in there
but with that bar that sticks out that's suppose to contact the switch, the new replacement switch is way to big and keeps it closed with no room to adjust the leaf

Regardless of the missing vend switch, if the solenoids plunger ( core) doesn’t return fully to the extended ( down) position after it’s been triggered ( activated) by the coinmech’s electrical pulse, it won’t release the vending links to allow you to pull a can out of the stack.

Check the linkage again to see what’s hanging it up & causing it to stick. In the retracted position, also it looks pretty corroded the core could just be hanging up in the coils bore,  it should move freely in & out.
