I am having trouble removing the knobs on my Stoner 180. I have 4 removed by pressing on the slide link to disengage the fork from the slot on the end of the knob but cannot get the other four. Is there a trick I am missing or do I need to disassemble any other parts to make it easier.  Any help is appreciated.

Pull knob removal can be tricky.  Unsure if you have removed the complete pull knob assembly which gives you a lot more access to remove the knobs.  Disconnecting one end of the two springs may help so you are not struggling against spring pressure as well

My six cents,
