Thanks for all the comments and information. $3500 is way beyond my budget. I'm looking for an ugly duckling I can refurbish or restore myself.

If you want to do your first restoration you do not want it to be a 110 especially with a large mech!
This machine has not been restored, it has been painted and probably by Coke.
Notice the rubber strip to the left of the bottle door, it should be all black.
Besides a restored machine would have much more glitter, even in a bad picture.

Thanks,
I'm going about this backwards, but I do have some other machines I'll try to restore 1st. VMC 27A, Vendo 63 and Cavalier 64. It's one of those "when I retire" things. I figure I'll work my way through the machines and learn as I go.

The Vendo 39 has always been a good starter machine to restore. You can buy them unrestored fairly cheap, $500-$800. When the drum is out there isn't a whole lot left in the machine. When done it looks great.

Someone just posted a NICE 110 in the for sale section for 1/2 of that. I bet you could ship it and still be in it reasonably.
