Hey guys, in my picking adventures I picked up this neat Hershey's wall mounted candy machine. Mid 50's I would assume, Seems to work great and everything is there, even the loading instructions inside and the all important key. I can't seem to find much information on it, and even though the "Hershey's" Sticker is cracked and faded, It is in such great shape I think I'm going leave it alone. I am curious if any of you have seen one before, and about what kind of coin they go for?  And I curious if they still make candy in the size this one was made to vend? Thanks for any information.

Congrats. They were made by Advance. Not sure if today's candy fits it. Here's a link to one that sold at auction a few years ago

I agree I think it looks good the way it is. Don't touch it. I kinda figured they would sell for more then that but I guess not.

Does your outer key fit the coin box too? I have one that I picked up years ago before Rick made this stuff really expensive.

I have a nice original one they are neat looking.  They work on a counter weight system inside.  I have found the small rectangular hershey bars that come in the $2 flat packs vend great...just don't leave them in the garage when it's warm out, they will melt and well good luck trying to vend!   laugh

Also they need to have product in them,  they willl not take coins without it being loaded.
