Collecting Ideal Sliders

« on: January 13, 2014, 07:25:55 am »

Does anyone have or know anyone that has an embossed Coke slider they are willing to part with? Unrestored or otherwise.

James,

I replied to the email you sent me.  I've owned 2 of them, and flipped them both to SMC members for restoration.

If I find another one, I'll let you know.

Love mine (fully restored), use it daily  - it would take a "silly" offer to pry it from my hands.   smile

Is 200 bucks silly enough?   laugh

I enjoy mine as well.... everyone asks about it when they see it (maybe because it's the only slider among all the machines lol)

No interest in prying one from someone that is enjoying their own. I know it will probably take a silly offer to get one in any condition.

The last one on ebay sat for a while before a member bought it and it turned out to be quite reasonably priced.

That would be me  smile
I thought for what it is at the price I paid I got a pretty fair deal.  I didn't get it for cheap that's for sure, but I thought for how rare it was, complete, cooling and VERY presentable I got a nice rare slider.
I was kind of wondering why no one else was interested in it when it was listed.
