Hi guys,

A few questions about my VMC 27 counter top Pepsi machine....

Does anyone have one ? I went to fill it with the small coke bottles and it appears they are too short, I am guessing it is made to vend long necks ? I might try to shim the rear for the little bottles to work.

Also I replaced the fan motor, (what a fun job lol) and it's working well, but I don't think I would want to leave this machine in my rec room running, as I find it kinda noisy as the fan is a double blade and never turns off.

Thanks

Shane.

Pepsi bottles were taller than the 6.5 oz. Cokes I believe. I own a Coke VMC27 tabletop. It was actually the first machine that I bought (paid $15 for it in 1972). I use to load it with Cokes and DP and never had an issue - never been a Pepsi guy so can't verify or deny vending issues. Why won't they vend?
What is the depth of the tub on a Pepsi 27? I can measure mine and see if there is any difference for you.

If the small Coke bottles don't work..........try Labbat Blue.
or Heineken

I loaded mine a few weeks ago,  The kids wanted to see it work.

I loaded it and the bottles were acting crazy.  Like they were to short.  I then looked and saw I was putting the bottles in the wrong way.  Turned them around and they vended perfect.

The tub is deeper on the Pepsi version.
Not sure if this subject is related to a VMC 33, where a baffle in the rear can be removed to vend longneck bottles.

A tabletop, at least a Coke tabletop, does not have a baffle like the upright 27 or 33.

Hi Guys, Thanks for your help.

So I measured the insides, it measures 8 3/4 inches from the back wall of the inner cabinet to the edge of the rack.
No baffle inside mine either.  I peeked inside my VMC 33 and 27 Dual, and they both had the baffle.

I didn't realize the Pepsi Machines where deeper. You learn something everyday! LOL
Glen, I got excited for min, as I thought beer bottles would fit, but our Canadian Bottles are a little too wide... I think American Bottles would fit though.

THE GOOD NEWS..... I found Pepsi Bottles that fit PERFECT. They where at the grocery store and even on sale lol. $3.99 Canadian for 4. (Good thing I don't have to fill a 110) lol

below is a pic of the bottle.
