Saw a thread from a few years back on this, but one popped up in San Antonio. According to the previous thread his asking price is more then the likely too high. Thoughts? http://sanantonio.craigslist.org/atq/3762904718.html

That is only his asking price and he is willing to bargain! Since using this requires so much trouble, hoses / Co2 / syrup etc. many people will just pass. You may get it for $200.00 after he sits on it for a few weeks.

Only reason I'd even consider is that in the previous post they were talking that this is one of the easier models to setup and get working. http://soda-machines.com/discussions/index.php/topic,12018.0.html

They are pretty simple to set up as long s you have a carbonator and CO2. I have a few of the multiplex meteor's which are the same set up. Contact Stuntpilot about it, he knows his way around these things.

$75 Max! And that's if it's fully functional and complete.
They do crank out a very cold drink when working properly. I've seen one dispense one at 34 degrees.

Do these suckers actually weigh 200lbs?

They most certainly do! It actually feels like 300 pounds since the weight distribution is all at the top. I can't count how many of these I had to haul in and out of places. I actually gave a couple to friends for a home fountain back in the day.

Kaleid, This machine uses the exact same style valve as the Dole Citation your were taking about on the other thread, just a different handle. Same syrup orifice and nozzle too.
So you can scab valve parts off the Director for the Citation.
If this unit can be found with the original carb mounted on the slide out try which is under the valves you might have something.
