Well, back in 1999 when the book was updated, before they all took the recent jumps in value, it was listed at a value of $750 in this condition. Its a rarity of 4.5 and according to the book ....of the post war Mills machines, the 65 is by far the most desirable.

So no, not everyone will have seen them. They were worth twice the "SMC Appraisal" before everything went UP in this boom. Its small, compact, and coca cola...but weighs 362#. Hold back from the crazy prices of 81D, yes, hard to get your money back of you dump $3000 in it for a restoration, yes. Worth less than half it was 15 years ago working and complete except a lock??? I have to question that one.
