I just picked up this peanut warmer yesterday . It says it is a "Hawkeye Vendo". I f anyone has pics they can share it would be greatly appreciated. It is all mechanical you push lever down after you insert dime and it releases the peanut in the shell. I think it will look good restored with new lettering to match existing. I think it had a hopper down below chute to catch any thing dropped.  help help help

Check out www.wittern.com.  Hawkeye Novelty morphed into Wittern.  The attached pic came from their website.  Also google "Hawkeye Novelty Co Billboard Popcorn" for a 1948 Billboard Magazine story about Hawkeye's introduction of its popcorn vendor.  I believe the popcorn and peanut versions were mechanically identical, but I could be wrong.

Here are a few pics of a Hawkeye Popcorn Vendor I picked up a few years ago in North Dakota.  I haven't touched it since I bought it.  If you need measurements to have a chute made or any other help, let me know.

It looks like it uses the same "shell" as the popcorn Sez machine.

It is close to popcorn sez machine but it is a little different. The Bottom chute almost looks the same. I think it will look good restored. i am looking to start on a couple of my warmer machines this weekend since we are having 70 degree weather here this weekend. Global warming for sure LOL laugh laugh

I have one and you are correct it is missing the outside trash hopper. Still need to apply the decals. Had some gold leaf decals done.

I would love to see your decals. Are they for salted peanuts or for popcorn? I just bought a u-pop-it machine like yours also but mine is blue and silver.

So does it just use a heat lamp to warm the peanuts?
