Nice Pickup Brian,,, Glad the King of the Cup Vendors found this one... it's in it's rightful place!

Can't wait to see more photos of it..  what makes it pepsi, just the paint and decal? these aren't embossed are they?

No, not embossed. These were from the late 1940's and sold to movie theater locatioins. This one is almost the same as my Coke, but the sign on the front is bolted on, but I looked under it and no Coke sign or markings or anothing. It has no red on it, accept the very front part. From what I can find, Lyon only made these for Coke, but maybe somehow Pepsi got involved??? The Pepsi one I have has an inside lid for the cup area and a smaller size cup drop. The Coke one has no inside lid, but a larger cup drop.

My Coke one came out of a guys garage, who got it from a friend who owned the theater in Green, Ohio. The Pepsi came from a guy in Ashland, Ohio. He said the guy he got it from owned a local vending company and when he moved, he left it in is garage and did not want it! I am glad I found a home for it! They are very cool.
