I have a Vendo 63 I'm bringing back, mechanically, but this is about what I think is a Caviler 64?

It vends bottles and in fact does get very cold according to the owner. But when the plug to the coin mechanism is plugged in it makes a noise like it's working,....Like a mechanical sounds as though something should be happening but nothing does.  So it's been left unplugged.  (the coin mechanism)

http://salem.craigslist.org/clt/2920735441.html

No dings or dens but the paint is scuffed up in several spots.

I'm not sure the size of bottles it will vend.

Any advice or thoughts on it's value?

Best regards,

Welcome to the board!

Looks like a Cavalier CSS-141, or something else that is LARGE!  http://soda-machines.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=278&Itemid=14

Notice the weight, 525 lbs.  If you can move it, it'll hold a whole lot of bottles, but I'd probably stay away from it and try to find something smaller.

Looks to be in great shape. $200 is fair but like thaz said that is a lot of machine for personal use.  If you are buying it for a business and need that much capacity then its a good deal.

It is just for personal use and I'd hate to drive an hour only to find out it's too big/heavy to move.  You guys saved me the drive.
Thank you.

Now back to my V63,...

YIKES! what a brute of a machine! the funny thing is I have a whole box of NOS bottle opener bezels for this very model! ( and now you know why they are still in the box sitting on the shelf, not a fast moving item.)  smile

Ron, I live in Portland and I'd like to get in touch.  From your profile it looks as though you have a few machines!

Best wishes,

^^  You're also here in the great northwest,...  This seems to fit in with some other obsessions I've had.
