Crank Handle Spring
«
on:

I’m finally reassembling a Vendo 56 after a long delay and last night I discovered I’m missing one of the two spring rests (pictured as part #'s 81 & 83 in the attached picture). Will the crank work without one of the rests or do I need to fabricate one up to have any chance of the crank working?
Thanks

they are there to provide extra tension to the spring... I've seen some that only have 1 in them, and have reassembled them the same and they work well.

Thanks!
Going with one! Assuming it doesn't go flying off into some dark corner of the shop never to be found again during reassembly!
