Another Slider

This little pepsi slider popped up in my hometown and i had my dad go take a look at it... he said it's an Ideal, but I've never seen one like it? Any help? Is it worth $200 the guy is asking?

Well its worth that in parts. The slider rack fits the other Ideal sliders. This is the later model ideal 55. They are pretty common but they usually don't sell well at all and most are parted out. If you want it for you then go do it but if you are wanting to turn it for a profit then I would pass unless you need the rack or want to part it out but a rack only sells for about $250 so you won't make much.

Yes if you can get it for $150 or less you will be in good shape no matter what. I think they are Ok looking. They are better than Cornelius sliders. I just don't care much for the lid. If they had put a stainless or even a painted lid that wasn't so plain looking I think it would be such a better looking slider.
