Well, the weather so far has been great. Friday isn't looking too promising..  spent the day at Universal Studios today.. cool place. Mid week in Feb is a great time of year to go.. nobody there, no waiting.. I thought NY traffic was bad.. People in LA don't know how to drive.. it shouldn't take almost an hour to go 12 miles.

Ken....You have to check out Ed Dabivicks in Beverly Hills, and The Fish Company in Santa Monica....if they are both still there....been over ten years since I've been out there.

Ed Debevic's is gone.. apparently quite a while ago. I found a post from 08 that someone was looking for a restaurant similar to that one. I'm not much of a seafood guy though for the other place.. it is still around and looks to be a pretty nice place.

Have you made it out to the beach?

If you have the time, go check out the freak show at Venice Beach when you visit your friend in Santa Monica.

Didn't get to the beach.. Drove through Venice on the way to the airport, but the LA traffic on a Friday of a 3 day weekend during a rain storm made it next to impossible to go anywhere. It made NYC traffic the week before Christmas seem like nothing. Next time I have to drive in NYC I will appreciate how little traffic there really is. There were a few things we didn't get to do on Friday because of the weather/traffic situation and also had to stick near the jobsite, since work did pay for my trip.
