Jofemar 2000 - MDB protocol - Machine not reading coins in tubes

Greetings, I have upgraded the J2000 to have more change capasity by adding a additional R5 tube. I have 2 R5 tubes,R2,R1, & 50c tubes. Machine is equiped with note reader. The machine is not reading that the coin mech has coins in th tubes thus showing use exact coins and dis enabling the note reader. What could be the possible problem..

Someone here may be able to help but your equipment is much newer than what we work with. Most of us collect machines from the 40's 50's and 60's.
