My friend Chuck has got a cool old Shell Gas Can ebay right now. It would go great beside that pump. He also has some soda machines as well. Here is link to the gas can.

the 766 is straight galss. I took the measurements form a catalog, went to local hadware store and had it cut
Yep, your right, I didn't know the model of it,, most of the bennetts like the 966 1066 and 956 have curved glass.  Then for sure you can get your own cut, and I don't even think it needs to have the corners rounded as it has that special gasket for it to sit in,Kinda like a MS80 pump.
Here is a SHell pump I recently did.. it was a Tok 300.

Also http://www.bigcheesepetro.com

Personally, I find  Cheese's forum to be more newbie friendly. your experience may vary. Both forums have  a wealth of  experience

There should be  framing  just about  where the ad glass sits the computer (dials and numbers) sits on.  It's been a while, but I think it's held by  4 bolts.

I plan to get my 766 out of storage in a few weeks I can take pictures, Found it's easier moving it in and out of a basement  with the body  panels removed, and the computer pulled.
