Imperial Cigarette Machine

After getting some tips on restorring my Stoner theatre candy machine... I think I will try to tackle this Imperial cigarette machine I have had for awhile. I like the art deco look on the front. I would like to re-chrome the design part but it looks like it's attached by some type of rivet... not quit sure. I do have the round mirror & the insides. There is a knob for matches also... 1 cent. I am trying to figure out how to make a new base/stand since it has some rust issues ( just on the very bottom) as you can see in the picture.... Maybe I should clean my garage first ;-)
