Machine clicks but wont vend

I have a newer model Cavalier CS64.  It is currently an Evian water machine.  I have the machine full of sodas.  I don't know how to tell how much money the machine will take so I put in money until it clicked - $1.10.  Then when I tried to take the a soda out, the mechanism didn't let me turn the handle to get the soda.  Is there a book or a company I can go to for info on this machine?

If it clicks thats good, maybe your shelf is set too high & not giving enough clearance so the bottle rolls past the lever/gate? just a thought '>

I got it working.  I was testing the dip switches one by one trying to figure out the pricing scheme and the solenoid finally started releasing the mechanism.  The inside had a soda explode and maybe it was gumming up the solenoid.  I guess after about 50 or so purchases it finally freed up.  Does anyone know of a book I can buy that explains the theory of the money machine and electronics of a vending machine?
